Crescent Gardens Florist prides ourselves on our unique and magical style. Due to the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers and the fact that every designer we have works on putting their own stamp on our signature style, our floral gifts don't always look cookie cutter, or exactly like the last time you ordered. We can guarantee that all our blooms are the freshest quality, that we take the best care of our products during processing and storage so they are long lasting, and that every order is made strictly to value using a floral recipe calculator.
Knowing that flowers are a perishable natural product and that floral arrangements and floral gifts are handmade, we make every effort to fortify our floral products and ensure the quality and beauty of our work. Many variables determine whether a flower will last as long as anticipated or whether a designer has created something which you will enjoy. Because we constantly seek ways to bring some of these variables under our control for improved floral performance, we welcome your comments and inquiries. Also, if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of flowers in any of our products, then please contact us within 24 hours and we will promptly take the appropriate action.
If you require a specific product, please call and check for its availability. Specialty order flowers such as rainbow or black Roses, or tropical varieties like Bird's of Paradise, Proteas, and Heliconia need to be pre-ordered at least 14 days in advance, as so some novelty plants - see individual descriptions for availability. Minimum quantities for flowers apply.
 
Substitution Policy
Fresh Flowers: We are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. We will make every effort to maintain the feel of the product by considering the color combinations, but because of seasonality, regional accessibility, and the nature of flowers, floral elements and greenery, and/or vessels will vary depending on availability. The size of the arrangement can also vary depending on what varieties of flowers are used, as higher end flowers will use more of the budget than less expensive types. In single-variety arrangements, the variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow Daisies, we will substitute another color of Daisies, not another yellow flower. White Roses and cream Roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach Roses and pink Roses. Purple and pink Orchids may need to be substituted for white Orchids and vise versa.
Plants: For tropical green and blooming plants, Succulents and Cacti, Air Plants, and Lithops, similar plants may be substituted of equal value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but we may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will vary.
Gift Baskets: We do not offer fruit, gourmet, or any other food gift baskets at this time.
Substitutions for Special Occasions: As all flowers are not always in season, or not in stock, and due to the importance of delivering orders on time for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we will make a substitution of equal value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you either via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us, or because of time constraints.

Funeral Arrangements
Funeral arrangements typically require additional lead-time. If your sympathy or funeral order requires delivery at a specific time of day, please try to let us know several days in advance so we can best accommodate your needs. Sunday deliveries are not available, so arrangements can be made with the funeral homes to deliver your order the day before.
Delivery to Hospitals
We are experienced at making deliveries to hospitals. Product options are limited to florals only (no plants) and they must be in a water source such as a vase or water tight container. When placing your order, please be sure to include the hospital name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or ward of the recipient. We will send your gift bouquet in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your order.
Delivery Policy
We always do our best to accommodate our customers’ delivery needs. However, we are not always able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day, especially during busy holiday periods. To request a specific delivery time, please be sure to call us to discuss, as we charge an extra fee for a timed delivery. Before major holidays, we strongly recommend that you place your orders several days in advance.
If no-one is home: Due to the extremely fragile and vulnerable nature of flowers and plants, it is our policy that we do not leave gifts at a recipient's home if they do not know that the gift is there. We will leave a voicemail and door tag for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery at a later time or date.
Recipient may be contacted: In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure s/he will be home to accept the delivery.
Please provide the correct phone number for the recipient. The buyer is responsible for any extra delivery charges incurred if the recipient is not contactable.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We are unable to accept international orders at this time; however, for an extra fee, we will accept orders for delivery anywhere in Canada, as long as there is a flower shop in the vicinity of the recipient. Please call the shop to arrange for an out of town delivery.
Cancellations
To provide you with the best possible service, you can cancel your order at anytime prior to delivery. If your gift is en route or delivered, we will be unable to cancel the order. To cancel an order, please call our store.
